Theology of the Body Thursday #20: What is Love?

TOBThursdayslogo

This week I discovered a series of paintings by a cool Korean artist depicting “What is love?”

As he says on his Facebook page: “Love is something that everybody can relate to. And Love comes in ways that we can easily overlook in our daily lives. So, I try to find the meaning of love in our daily lives and make it into artwork.

Here are a few of them, you can see the rest of his pictures on his Facebook page or here.

Love is those everyday moments. It exists totally and happily in the everyday.

Love is being together. It reminds me of the old couple on the porch. They don’t have to say anything, they just are there for each other and that’s all that matters.

I hope these pictures have given you something to think about. What does love mean to you? Look for love in the small moments today.
